Tinted lenses there are three main reasons for tinting.The first is the protection from harmful rays like ultra ray(UV) radiation and infra red (IR) radiation.The second reasons is the comfort where there is glare.Lastly is the cosmetic.The tinting method for the glass got three type,like solid tint,equitint/bonded tint and the vaccum tint.The tinting method of the plastics is the dip dyed,lamination,vaccum tint and the imbibed.After that,the summary of tint type classification is fixed tint, photochromic (variable) tint,full tint and graduated tint.Each tinted lenses have it own advantages and disadvantages.In addition, the different colors of tinted lenses in a different sport activities all have a different use.The photochromic lenses is a different kind of tinted lenses,it will changing darkening when exposure to UV radiation and lightening under ambient heat and it also will changing back to white colour lens when inside indoor.Polarized lens is the only tinted lens to eliminate the glare from reflective surfaces such as snow,water and roads.It also can protect the eye from damage caused by long term exposure to UV light.
